When I was a young mom, I tried to "get organized" with no luck.
I was constantly putting out "fires" and feeling drug around by life and the needs of my family.
I wondered how it was humanly possible to keep track of my goals and self-care for more than the first two weeks of the year!
I was at a loss and felt like I was drowning, until I learned the skill of time-blocking and created a home management planner for myself.
Since then, I've practiced and refined my planning skills, while raising kids and learning to care for myself, my home and family!

2 I learned that you can create organization with enough flexibility to deal with the unexpected events of daily family life. What a relief!
3 I learned that kids thrive in order and feel safe in the boundaries of tradition and predictable, daily rhythms.
4 I learned that you can love and teach your kids at the same time, and with practice, you can experience order and a joyful life by working together!
5 I learned that order can lead to far less stress and therefore, greater freedom, health and peace.
6 I also learned that if I didn't care for myself, my own learning and growth, the rest of the family would eventually suffer.
"But I hate time-management!"
At first I worried that having a plan would make me feel like I had my head in a box! I argued with myself: what if I made decisions about what I would do when, and then what if I didn't feel like cleaning the bathroom on Tuesday?
And what if I didn't want what was on the meal plan for dinner that day? And what if my child got sick or the car broke down and my schedule was wrecked? Can you relate?
Instead of Time Management, I call it Time Blocking, and it works much better for families!
I am going to show you how I learned to fill my schedule with the most important things first, like self-care and relationship building, then home maintenance and upkeep, followed by the nice-to-do things that can stay or go and it won't really matter!!
