As I have worked with moms over the last ten years, I have found common themes in their concerns:
Some would like to live their dream of being a great mother and homemaker without feeling ashamed or guilty that they're "just" being a mom;
They'd like to feel more in control of their own thoughts and behavior; feel less fear and angst and more often feel to sing the song of Redeeming love with faith in Jesus Christ;
They wish they had less stress around home maintenance and plans for meal times so that life wouldn't feel like a constant string of decisions about which fire to put out first!
Most would really like to have less drama and more peace in their relationships with their spouse and kids; and more understanding about how to care take really good care of themselves!
Can you relate to any of these concerns and desires?
The 7 Steps to Family Wellness was designed for you! But I have to say it could be named, 7 Steps to Mother's Wellness because family wellness can, and often does start with you!
You'll learn to manage the conversation in your head, lighten your load, strengthen your relationships with family, food and time, gain the life-changing skills of validation and much more!
The genesis of all things is spiritual creation! What are you striving to create in your life? Let's go inside our thinking & beliefs, to see if they line up with our vision & behavior. Then we can create loving relationships with people, time & food!
With awareness and honesty, "the LORD can lighten my darkness." 2 Samuel 22:29 What are we carrying around in our homes and schedules that is unneccesary and burdensome?
"I am responsibile for my thoughts, emotions, words and behavior. That's all. I Don't Have to Make Everything All Better, nor can I. But, I am kind, gentle, respectful loving & firm."
What is feeding us? What we eat, yes... and, what we consume through all our senses and those things we love to do! Do you remember what lights you up?
This is where our spiritual vision evolves into a plan. Self management, home management, peace and order. Aaaah. It's yours for the making.
"One can never get enough of what one doesn't need." We'll dive into your pantry and fridge and see if we can find what you do need. Then a little goes a long way.
Cooking is love made visible: know what's for dinner before you and everyone else is hangry! Or just hungry.
We live with so much information available to us, and so many great ways to gather and store it! But when we want to apply what we've gathered, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start!
I have prepared a starting point and I invite you to join in!
